UKREiiF - Liverpool 2028 Opportunity

Over 17k delegates to attend event in Liverpool - accommodation opportunity for Cheshire and Warrington

The UK's largest real estate and infrastructure forum is coming to the north west from 2028. Liverpool has been confirmed as host city as the event moves from Leeds, where it will have been held for 6 years. It will take place at the Liverpool Experience Campus on the city's waterfront (previously known as ACC Liverpool).

Why it matters for Cheshire and Warrington

This is a big event, expected to draw more than 17,000 delegates across three days, including over 4,000 investors and developers and representatives from more than 275 councils from across the country. Exhibitors, speakers and sponsors bring their own teams too. Many arrive early to build stands and stay for evening receptions.

The economic impact is huge. It is reported that the 2025 event in Leeds to brought over £20million into the local economy through visitor spend.

Liverpool city centre hasn't got capacity to host all visitors, which provides an opportunity for accommodation providers in Cheshire and Warrington with good road and rail links into Liverpool. Our region will be well placed to capture overnight stays from delegates who want quality, value or a quieter base.

How to get ready

Mark the dates now. Think about pricing, minimum stays and how much stock to hold back for event demand.  The dates usually fall from Tuesday - Thursday around the middle week of May each year.

Get visible early. Make sure your listings are up to date, and mention travel times to Liverpool in your descriptions.

Research exhibitor teams. Companies often book blocks of rooms months in advance, so group rates could secure multiple nights.

Consider business traveller requirements. Fast Wi-Fi, early breakfasts, late check-in, desk space and help with taxis or transfers.

Partner up. Neighbouring providers, taxi firms and restaurants could create packages together.

We will provide information in the coming months as details become confirmed.
