August 2026 - PR Update

We may still be enjoying the heat of summer, but the media will soon be turning their attention to autumn (and Christmas!), as well as looking ahead to 2027. If you have any news/new openings/events taking place this Autumn/festive season, do let us know – also we’d love to hear of any anniversaries, filming location tie-ins, or anything quirky that might attract media interest. We’ve had some lovely coverage this summer, with the Bolesworth Bothy appearing in The Telegraph’s finest holiday cottages round up; The Reserve at Chester Zoo has featured in Sainsbury’s and Fabulous magazine, and our very own Cheshire Life covered why Cheshire makes a great staycation destination. We have Chester and Knutsford features coming up in The i newspaper, the FT’s travel pages will be covering the World Town Crier Tournament in Chester, and The Times’ round up of Great Family Activities for this summer will include Tatton Park’s celebration of Winnie-the-Pooh. Plus the New Zealand Herald has recently visited for a piece spanning Knutsford and Chester.
