About

Cheshire Day

Celebrate all things Cheshire in March.

The 30 March is the county’s official day, a moment to champion what makes Cheshire a great place to live, work and play. From food and drink to attractions, experiences, retail and heritage, it’s your chance to put your story in the spotlight.

Help us shape our B2C campaign...

3,593,000 reasons to be involved.

Last year our activity achieved an impressive 3.6m organic reach with the support and engagement of local businesses and partners. It's free exposure for those businesses who engage with Cheshire Day.

Tell us your story.

Help us tell residents and visitors your “Made in Cheshire” story. Businesses across Cheshire are creating one-off treats to unmissable experiences, or simply sharing their Cheshire story.

Let us know before March 01 to be included in our consumer e-news.

Wear it with pride.

Have something Made in Cheshire? Consider yourself made here? Brand it, badge it, shout about it!

Show and tell why Cheshire is the place to be this March. Download the Asset Pack.

Next Steps.

We've prepared an activity toolkit with links to Asset Packs and how to get involved and engaged with the weeks leading up to the 30 March. Simply tell us your, activity, event or story and we'll collate it on the visitcheshire.com, Cheshire Day landing page. In the meantime, we are;

Working with our partners Avanti West Coast and Merseyrail to promote the day, including, Meta ads, and 1000 free tickets to Chester via the Merseyrail Network.

Filming face-to-face interviews with local names who are championing Cheshire, building engagement on our social channels.

Publishing PR to engage consumers; residents and visitors to explore what's on offer around Cheshire Day. Including entering our Cheshire Day competition.
